Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone started second grade at 5 years old. Stone was said to be gifted in the academic area. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Her graduation was in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated back to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to take on a modeling job and signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After a year spent between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone became dissatisfied with the modeling market in Europe, and chose to pursue acting instead. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film was met with mixed reviews.
